Sinopsis

Philadelphia. 1961. Un niño nace el color en unos grandes almacenes. Un médico viene a ver cómo la madre y el niño, y la mujer horrorizada pregunta si el niño ha caído porque ha roto brazos y las piernas. Philadelphia. 2000. Un hombre llamado David Dunn está en el expreso de Nueva York a Filadelfia en el camino a casa después de una entrevista de trabajo en la ciudad de los rascacielos. En el tren una conversación con una mujer atractiva, pero ella cree que quiere coquetear y casas de cambio. Un momento después, un accidente trágico.
